We all decided to sleep in a bit this morning, to recover from the late night (or early morning, depending on how you think of it), then go to the St. Paddy's Day parade early this afternoon... that was great! Quite a few bands and representatives from different organizations were there, including some as far away as the NYPD.
After that, we took the subway up to the Harvard campus, where we had some late lunch and basically wandered around "pestering" inanimate objects (one of those "you had to be there" things, starting with a sign that somehow used "poster" as a verb...?). We took a break at the local Starbucks then decided to head back into Boston.
The last thing on the agenda tonight was all of us having dinner with mavjop's friend Tale. As it turns out, the guy has quite a history. I wasn't aware of who he was before this weekend, but it was interesting having him there and all of us talking about various things over some great Italian food.
Time for me to get some sleep now, after preparing a bit for the flight back home tomorrow. The photos from today (roughly 120 of them) are downloading into the laptop as I type this, and I'm going to see how many of them I can get through on the way home tomorrow. When they're done, they'll join the keepers from yesterday here:
